Since September 2021, we've been researching on these UNESCO World Heritage Sites' various assets and most imminent threats. We aim to bring awareness and incite change - no matter how small - to the protection of these assets.

UNESCO World Heritage Sites:
Cultural Sites

Laden with rich history and heritage, these sites embody social narratives unique to local communities. Oftentimes, it is their architectural heritage that requires careful protection and mitigation measures such that they can continue being the backbone of these communities - through the ways they live, work and play.

Come and learn about Sino-Western architecture in the Historic Centre of Macau, or beautiful Laotian architecture in Luang Prabang. If you've been to Hoi An Ancient Town, you'd have seen their traditional buildings; let's learn about how we can protect their authenticity! For art lovers, you'd be in for a treat when you read about the Historic City of Ayutthaya - the intricacies of Thai art heritage is a sight for sore eyes!

Natural Sites

Think forests, waterfalls and mountain ranges - these natural sites have got it all, but they're unfortunately under massive threats! Be it infrastructural developments, natural disasters or man-made destruction, these forests and their flora & fauna inhabitants are defenceless and it's up to us to fight for them.


Enjoy the beauty of the scenic river gorges of Yunnan's Three Parallel Rivers while you can, as unsupervised mining will eradicate them in no time if left unprotected. Then, hear the cries of the many endangered species in the Tropical Rainforest of Sumatra which has been put on UNESCO's Danger List. Across the sea lies Kinabalu Park which boasts just as wide a variety of flora & fauna. Lastly, read all about the beautiful Sundarbans across the continent!
